Verna Bernice Medinas

Verna returned with honor to her Heavenly Home on Saturday, October 8,

2022, after a long battle with congestive heart failure.

She was born to extraordinary parents, Joseph and Bernice Dille. The oldest of eight children, she learned to work hard on a dairy farm alongside of her father and

siblings in the fields and the milking barn. These treasured experiences of

working hard remained with her throughout her career and family life.

She dearly loved all the children given to her and was a great support in

their lives. Verna was greatly loved by their neighbors, church members

and family members. She had a special way of making others feel loved

and important.

Verna is survived by her husband, Gerald Medinas, their seven

children, 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, two sisters and three

brothers. She will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
