Our beloved Vernon Brent Allphin passed away in Clearfield, Utah Thursday, December 15, 2022.
Right after high school he decided to join the U.S. Navy. Brent wanted to be a ship’s cook. He had taken some computer classes, so the Navy decided he would fit better in the computer field. He served 2 years and loved every minute of it. His time was served in Hawaii and Arlington, Virginia. When he came home, he worked at Kennecott Copper, and later took a job with Hill Air Force in computers once again. That was his life-long calling. Brent was a very intelligent man and became very affluent in many computer languages.
Brent had one son, Jason K. Allphin. He then married his love, Eileen J. Allphin. They married and moved to Syracuse Utah. He had three more stepchildren, Kurt Jeffs, Bonnie Jeffs, and Tami Jeffs.
Brent loved to fish, hunt, and ride ATVs.
