Vesta Worthington

Vesta Cox Worthington was born in Tormey, California on November 13, 1927 to Lawrence Janes Cox and Francis Lynette Huntsman.  She passed away peacefully November 8, 2016 at Rocky Mountain Care Center in Clearfield, Utah.

Vesta grew up in Tormey until she was three and her family moved to Overton, Nevada.  She lived there until she was thirteen.  Her family sold everything and moved to Salt Lake City, Utah because her father was in the VA Hospital not expected to live.

While living in Salt Lake City, Vesta met and married Myron Jay (Bud) Worthington.  They were married fifty-four years. They had three children and traveled the world while dad was in the military service.  Mom loved to read, (especially Lee Child books), garden, travel, and eat in restaurants.

Vesta always said her family was her whole life and she showed it by the sacrifices she made and the time she spent rearing good responsible children.

Vesta is survived by her children David Jay Worthington (Michelle), Sharon Lyn Naylor (Gary),Gregory Myron Worthington (Sheila); grandchildren; Gary (Ty) Naylor (Shauna), Katie T. Naylor, Brooke T. Trumbo (Harrison), Jeffrey T. Naylor (Rachel), Taw T. Naylor, Andrew J. Worthington (Meredith), Nora J. Worthington great-grandchildren; Kirra, Aleah, Noah, Sophia, Brenden, Elizabeth, Kaden, Lucy, Marion and Bridgette, her sisters; Ellie Brown and Mary Jarrett (Doug), brothers; Dean Cox, Bud Cox (Ann) and many nieces and nephews.

We love you mom and will miss you very much. Love always, Your Family.
