Vickie Rae Atwood

Vickie Rae Atwood was born March 27, 1953, the fifth child to Carl Wellington Atwood and Lillian Beth Winegar in Salt Lake City, Utah.  She passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 67 in Vincennes, Indiana.

Vickie was a precious daughter and sister.  As a child she would feed the neighbor children with melted cheese crackers that she made in her working toy oven.  She loved her nieces and nephews.

She was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She served in many callings over the years, but her favorite was serving in the nursery where she could play with the little children.  She enjoyed making and gifting crafts of various kinds over the years, most recently 3D diamond painting.  Vickie was a bookkeeper and clerk for many years.

Vickie is survived by her brother Melvin, sisters Donna and Carla, and 36 nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by parents Carl and Beth Atwood, her brother David Kent Atwood (Bucky), and sister Betty Ann Atwood.

Graveside services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Lakeview Memorial Estates in Bountiful, Utah under the directions of Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary.
