Vickie Lynn Tucker, known as Ms. Tucker to her students, Vick to her family, Mom to her kids, and Gee to her only grandson, passed away on Monday February 3rd, 2025. Born on August 7, 1953, in Price, Utah, Gee overcame so much in her life thru hard work, faith, bravery, creativity, and love. Everyone that knew her respected her, and loved her, and could see what a good person she was.
She was an excellent student, graduating from Wendover High School, and later in life, graduating from Weber St. University with a Bachelor's in teaching. She also earned her Masters degree from the University of Phoenix. Vickie taught at Kaysville Elementary school. She was an amazing teacher who inspired and motivated her students. Many of them kept in touch with her long after they grew up, and made a point to come back and tell her how much she impacted their lives.
Vickie was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she served as a Ward Missionary. Her faith guided her throughout her adult life, and was the foundation in her interactions and service to others. She loved God and hoped and prayed that she would be reunited with her loved ones in Heaven.
Gee had great creativity and skill with her hands. She was able to print and draw, sew and crochet extremely well. She loved to crochet, making hats, scarves, and ear warmers for her daughter Teddi. She especially took joy in making hats for preemie babies.
Vickie was an animal lover, but more importantly, a dog lover. She was deeply devoted to her own dogs, and she loved coming home to them. She took care of them and took care of her sons dogs, and they all loved her with great affection.
Gee had one grandson, Colson Dimitrious Lucas. He was the most important thing in her life, most certainly after she retired. She loved when he spent the night, and played with his trains, and she would make him chocolate chip pancakes the next morning. He called her Gee when he was little. And he loved her so much. And she loved him so much. And he had her heart until she passed away.
Vickie will be remembered by her family, which includes her daughter, Teddi Marie-Lucas Browne (John), her son, Nicholas Dimitrious (Saralyn) Lucas, her only grandson Colson Dimitrious Lucas, her brothers, Scott Dunn, Douglas Earl (Mariaelena) Tucker, Michael Vance (Christy) Tucker, Thomas Albert (Karen) Tucker, and her sisters Nola Kay (Milton) Hanson, and Shirley Ann Brunyer.
She joins in peace her beloved parents Douglas Vance Tucker, and Emily Tucker, along with her older sister, Verna Marie Parker, who have all preceded her in death.

“If there ever becomes a day that we cannot be together, keep me in your heart, and I will stay there forever.”
“It's funny to think about the things in your life that can make you cry just knowing they existed... can then become the same things that make you cry knowing that they're gone.”
