Victoria Lynn (Albritton) Norton passed away at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah shortly after midnight on August 11, 2024 after a short battle with cardiac and respiratory issues.
She was born at Thomas D. Dee Memorial Hospital in Ogden, Utah on November 27, 1966 to Elva Irene (Hager) Albritton (mother) and never knew her father, Frank Crummit (deceased).
She lived in Sacramento, California shortly after her birth with her mother, cousin and aunt and moved back to Utah shortly before beginning school. She grew up in the Clearfield and Layton area where she made multitudes of loving friends. Victoria attended North Davis Junior High and Clearfield High School where she graduated in 1984. While in high school, she met her adoring friend and future husband, James Norton.
Not long after high school, Victoria and James married and had two children Corwin J. Norton (1985) and Michael C. Norton (1989). Over many years, Victoria and James endured many hardships such as the loss of their son Michael and mother Irene and became the "love of each others' life".
Victoria is survived by her husband James (Hooper, Utah), her son Corwin (Hooper, Utah), granddaughter (Kohlbie), grandson (Mason) , her in-laws: sisters (Tresa and Jenny), brother (Rick) and father Ray Norton (Layton, Utah), and mother Barbara Norton (Layton, Utah). Victoria is survived by many loved cousins on both sides.
Victoria was preceded in death by her mother (Irene Albritton), son (Michael), uncle (Ernie Hager), aunt (Florence Robbins) and her great friends Angie Argerakis and Wendy Gunnel-Jeffries.
Victoria's life will be celebrated at an informal viewing for family and friends on Monday, August 19, 2024 between 6 and 8 pm at Lindquist Roy Mortuary (3333 West 5600 South, Roy, Utah). There will be a luncheon on Tuesday, August 20th for close family and friends to reminisce and celebrate Victoria's time with us.
Victoria and her family are overwhelmed and grateful for the help and support that everyone has expressed in our time of need. We and the hundreds of lives Victoria has touched will miss and mourn her every day.
