Viola Vendegnia
OGDEN – Our beautiful wife and mother, Viola Vendegnia, 77, died at her home in the arms of her family from Alzheimer’s disease.
She was born November 24, 1930 in Fruita, Colorado, a daughter of Nicholas Trujillo.
Viola married Ralph Vendegnia on August 31, 1949.
She retired from St. Benedict’s Hospital.
Viola loved music, dancing, animals, and the Utah Jazz.
Surviving are her husband, Ralph, of 60 years, who lovingly cared for her during her long illness – thanks Dad, we love you. Also surviving are her daughters, Karen (John) Hoke, Niki (Mike) Cussimanio, Toni (Jeff) Wehus, stepchildren, George Vendegnia, Patty Marzano, six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and her dog, Vinnie.
She was preceded in death by her Dad, brother, and sisters.
Private graveside services will be held Wednesday at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
Friends may call at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
