Viola R. Workman

Viola R.Workman of Mesa, Arizona, born July 19, 1919 in Salt Lake City Utah to Homer Robinson and Emma Pfister, passed away September 27, 2016 in Mesa, Arizona.  She graduated from Wasatch Academy in Pleasant Grove, Utah and from LDS Business College in Salt Lake City. She married Wendell Workman on June 5, 1940 in Salt Lake City.  Most of her working life was at Hill Air Force Base where she excelled in traffic management.

She is survived by her 3 children, Doug (Carol) Workman, Carole (Dean) Weaver and Larry (Kathy) Workman.  She is also survived by her sister Faye (Fred) Buckner, 11 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents her brothers Bill and Max Robinson, sister Lahoma Sproul and grandchildren Carlene Weaver Carter and Kyle Weaver.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 11 am at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N Fairfield Rd. Friends and family may call Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 9:30 to10 :30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
