On June 14, 2008, our beautiful and courageous Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and a Friend to many, left us to begin her journey home to live with the man she loved her whole life and their infant son.
Mom faced many trials and tribulations in her brief life but she never gave up. She continued to be there for so many people over the years and was always thinking of others before herself. She maintained a wonderful life for me making sure I had everything I needed and so much more. She instilled many wonderful qualities in me and set a perfect example at all times.
Mom was born July 22, 1960 in Ogden, Utah to Virgil Payne and Patricia Clontz.
She graduated from Roy High School and not long after met and married the man she fell in love with the minute she saw him across the room, Wilhelmus (Bill) Mutsaers. Together they had two beautiful children, Anna Marie Mutsaers and William Tyler Mutsaers. Mom lost her baby son soon after birth in 1987 and in 1990 she lost her beloved husband. She never fully recovered from those losses but always managed to make the best of life possible for everyone around her.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna Marie Mutsaers and fiance'', Jason Chilia; her mother, Patricia (Stanley) Clontz, three sisters, Terry (Paul) Bell, Patricia Sue Murphy, Mary Lou (Rod) Ficklin, a brother, Tom (Judy) Payne, and many close nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, son, William Tyler, her father, Virgil Payne and her step-mother, Joye Payne.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 20th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
Friends and family may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, So he closed his arms around you and whispered, "Come with Me". In tears we saw you sinking, we watched you fade away. Our hearts were almost broken. You fought so hard to stay. But when we saw you sleeping so peacefully, free from pain, We could not wish you back to suffer so again. So keep your arms around her, Lord, and give her special care, Make up for all she suffered and all that seemed unfair.
