Virginia Fuhriman Andersen

1926-2014

Virginia Fuhriman Andersen, age 87, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was born in Providence, Utah on December 8, 1926 the daughter of Oliver and Lillian Curtis Fuhriman. Married Boyd E. Andersen September 3, 1948, later solemnized in the Logan Temple.

Virginia was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in numerous callings throughout her life. Most recently she served as a hostess at the Joseph Smith Building, a temple worker and also volunteered at the Bountiful Food Pantry.  She was an avid reader, made scrapbooks for the family and wrote poetry.

She is survived by her children; David Andersen (Deb), Dan Andersen (Susan), Kim Fuhriman (Jean), Teresa Butterfield (Dell), Kris Blaisdell (Dan), and Jan Judd (Paul); 20 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  She is also survived by her brother Kirk Fuhriman (Ilene).  Preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Bud.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Bountiful 21 st Ward Chapel, 115 Wicker Lane.  Friends may visit family on Wed. Nov. 12 th from 6-8 pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. and Thursday from 9:45-10:45 am at the Church prior to services.  Interment Hyrum City Cemetery.
