Virginia Fowers Becraft, 95, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017. She was born on October 13, 1921, in Hooper City, UT, the daughter of Joseph Paul and Fern Belnap Fowers.  She graduated from Weber High School and lived in Ogden for about 30 years with a few in Roy.

She married Henry Taylor Becraft on May 15, 1941 in Weber County, Utah.  Taylor passed away on January 29, 2014.

Virginia was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She retired from Ogden City Schools as a secretary after 25 years of service.

For twenty years after retirement she enjoyed making beautiful ceramic art work especially her porcelain doll collection for her grandchildren. She loved to crochet and quilt. Virginia was extremely proud of the legacy of her family.

Virginia is survived by her son, Gerald Taylor (Josie) Becraft; daughter, Susan Becraft Hall (Jim); daughter-in-law, Lisa Becraft; nine grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Vickie) Fowers.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Taylor Becraft; son, Michael Earl Becraft; three brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe. Rd.
