Virginia Pearl Hawkes Charlesworth
KAYSVILLE a" Virginia Pearl Hawkes Charlesworth, 88, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013 at her home.
She was born October 14, 1924 in Thomas, Idaho the daughter of Francis Sidney and Genevieve Pearl Goodwin Hawkes.
Virginia married John Warren Charlesworth on June 6, 1951 in the Idaho Falls Temple. John Warren passed away May 7, 2006.
She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as a faithful temple worker at the Jordan River Temple and Bountiful Temple for over 10 years. Virginia was always willing to do whatever was asked of her.
Virginia graduated from the LDS Institute and was a Registered Nurse.
She loved reading scriptures, Church Doctrine, crocheting, knitting and feeding her boys.
Surviving are her daughter, Cindy (Jim) Duke, Idaho Falls, ID; sons, Randy (Jenny) Charlesworth, Kearns; Reggie (Susan) Charlesworth, Marysville, WA; Rodney (Gina) Charlesworth, West Valley; Richard (Debbie) Charlesworth, Forest Grove, OR; Chris (Andrea) Charlesworth, Kaysville; 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, brothers, Vernial, Jay, Brent, sisters, Afton and Orva.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Rowland Sidney, Mertin William and one sister, Frances Ruth.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville 13th Ward, 875 E. 200 No., Kaysville. Friends may visit family Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 W. 4100 So., West Valley.
