OGDEN - Virginia R. Charlton, 90, passed away peacefully at her home as she wished, on Tuesday, November 27, 2007. Thanks goes out to the caregivers that made it possible.

She was born August 30, 1917 in Ogden, a daughter of William Reid and Francis Noker, Reid, Duane.

Virginia resided in Ogden her entire life and was very comfortable with and proud of that. Her favorite activity was ballroom dancing. Much of her dancing was in the thirties and forties at the White City Ballroom where she met Norvel Charlton, who became her husband.

She was the Dee School Lunch Program Manager for over 20 years. She always had a special fondness for children.

Virginia leaves behind her son, Dennis, two grandchildren, Kris and Brett, and three great-grandchildren, Carson, Mason and Luc.

Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers, sending donations to the charity of your choice.
