Virginia F. North passed away peacefully at home on October 4, 2017 in Ogden, Utah, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 2, 1930, to Ben and Leona Ferro the last remaining of 11 children. She lived in Ogden all her life. She graduated from Ogden High School and worked for Joes Bakery and Utah School for the Deaf and Blind. Her hobbies were square dancing, playing cards, and crocheting.

Surviving is her husband of 66 years, Rex North; children, Rick (Karen) North, Vicki (Bub) Fowers, Maurine (Mike) Lee; Joe North; and Randy North; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents, daughter, Monica North; her sisters, brothers, and two grandchildren, Olie Wasburn, little Joey North and Alicia.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
