Virla passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016 surrounded by family.

Virla worked and retired from the Weber County Sherriff’s Office for 20 years.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She loved spending time with the great-grandchildren.

Virla is survived by Glen (Yvone) Hess, Rod (Pam) Hess, John (Sandra) Hess, and many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, sister, son, Randy; and daughter, Carleen.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
