Vivian G. Boggs
Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend breathed her first breath on December 11, 1932 and her last breath on this earth during Passover season, Resurrection Sunday, April 12, 2009.
Vivian G. Boggs was born to Finley and Sue Barnes Morris in Marlinton, West Virginia. She graduated from Douglas High School in Huntington, West Virginia in May 1952. After six years of courtship, she married the love of her life Paul W. Boggs on November 16, 1952 in Brownsburg, WVA. They spent 20 years in the Air Force and retired in Clearfield, Utah where they raised three children and two grandchildren. Her family was very important to her. She was truly devoted to Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior, her husband, her children, her church, her friends, and her extended family. Vivian loved spending the holidays with her family and friends and all church functions. She was a seasoned bowler and enjoyed the many leagues that she bowled on. She also was a volunteer for Family Services for over five years.
In her childhood, Vivian won numerous awards in Sunday school for knowing and reading her Bible. She always attended church throughout her life. Most recently, she attended worship services at the Hill AFB Chapel for over ten years and the last fourteen years at Integrity Christian Fellowship Church where her son-in-law Timothy Henderson is the pastor. She was very active in the church serving as the corresponding secretary, church anniversary and fellowship committee member, an intercessor, and was known as the “mother of the church.” She treasured her church family.
Surviving are her husband Paul W. Boggs (Clearfield, UT), whom she had been married to for over 56 years, her son, Wes Boggs (Clearfield, UT), her daughter Vicki Henderson (Timothy-South Weber), her beloved grandson Paul A. Boggs, (Clearfield, UT), her much-loved granddaughter, Rose Saldarriaga (Fort Collins, CO), and her favorite sister Ida Jackson, (Cleveland, OH). She has other children who have “adopted” her as “mom.” She had a special place in her heart for her nieces Karen Larkins (Cleveland, OH), and Zelda Dunn (Columbus, OH). She has numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren whom she adores. Also surviving are Vivian’s dearest and closest friends.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents Finely and Sue Morris, her brothers Finley Jr. and Richard Morris, and her son, Paul Boggs Jr.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Homegoing Celebration service in her honor 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Crossroads Christian Fellowship, 6545 Combe Road in Uintah, UT.

Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
The Boggs and Henderson family wish to thank all of Vivian’s doctors, nurses, and caregivers who worked diligently, especially in these last five years, to insure her comfort and health. You did a great job. A special thanks to Pineview Rehab Transitional Center and its owner Tom, Advanta Home Health Care, and Legacy Hospice Care for providing excellent care for her. You spoiled her and we love you for that.
