Vivian Torman Ewing

Vivian Torman Ewing Our loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother, Vivian Torman Ewing, 87, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, surrounded by her family. She was born on March 29, 1925 the daughter of Robert L. and Ivy Myrtle Murdock Torman in Ogden, Utah.

Vivian married Jay B. Ewing on February 9, 1946 in Ogden. They were able to spend 66 wonderful years together before Vivian''s passing.

She worked at IRS and she was a Pink Lady at St. Benedict''s Hospital. She enjoyed shopping, camping and watching the Jazz. Vivian also loved spending time with her family and friends at the Ogden Eagles Trailer Park.

Vivian and Jay raised their children in Ogden, but as they got older they loved spending the winters in Yuma, Arizona with their friends.

Vivian is survived by her husband, Jay; son, Ronald (Kim) Ewing; daughters, Kris (Frank) Brown and Pam (Dale) Sparkman; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 23, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Viv was a very loving person and will be missed by all.
