Vivian Rose Hurd Larson
Vivian Rose Hurd Larson, graciously and mercifully, passed away, Saturday, May 11, 2013, at her home with her family by her side. Valiant to the end, she leaves behind a favorite daughter, son and granddaughter who will miss her terribly.
She will best be remembered for her sweet personality and her exemplary devotion to her late husband, Cliff. They were a remarkable pair in business and life and were in love for their 68 years of marriage. They loved to travel in their Airstream trailer. They basked in the winter sun of Desert Center, CA. She enjoyed her home and yard with flowers, birds, and sunsets.
Born to Clarence Temple and Rose Hurd with siblings: William, Richard, Robert and Shirley. She was delighted to be a member of numerous clubs: Chareya, Dear Dough, Fidelis Book Club, and Stitch & Bitch (Sewing Club). She was blessed by her daughter, Kathleen; son, Greg; granddaughter, Nicolette; and her friend and neighbor, Jerry Myers; but happily leaves behind her grand-dog.
The family is humbled by the many tender mercies of a loving Heavenly Father. A heartfelt thanks to all the angelic caregivers of Advocate Hospice, especially LaDawn and Ellie.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd. Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary.
