Vyrna Hanson Campbell, born to Nellie B. Parry and Howard D. Hanson.  Our dear mother got an offer she couldn’t refuse to rejoin her dear love and husband Frank who left her 50 years ago and was waiting for her beyond the veil.

At age 95, she had given great love and service to her six children, 22 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and 12 great great-grandchildren.

She lost her dear husband at age 45 and was alone ten years before she met and married Chris Shingleton who made her life much happier.  We love and appreciate him greatly.

Mom worked for Utah Power & Light as personal secretary to the President/CEO until she retired.  She had many friends, the majority of whom she has outlived.  Mom loved life and lived it to the fullest.  She will be missed.

Vyrna was preceded in death by her parents and husband Frank R. Campbell.  She is survived by her six children; Kaye Richins (Larry), Dave, Steve (Carol), Rick (Nancy), Annette Maxfield (Kelly), Rob (Michelle) and brother Dale Hanson.

Her life of giving and serving will be honored at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may visit family from 9:30-10:30 am prior to the services. Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
