OGDEN a€" Wallace Hyrum Dennis, Jr., 80, passed away Monday, November 24, 2008 at McKay-Dee Hospital.

He was born January 27, 1928 in Myton, Utah, to Wallace Hyrum Sr. and Gladys Stewart Dennis.

Wallace married Wilma Erickson on June 14, 1947.

He retired from Hormel Company as a buyer and manager.

Wallace loved woodworking and especially enjoyed time with his family and grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Wilma and five children, David E. Dennis, Wayne T. Dennis, Brent W. Dennis, Annie D. Lowe, Jean D. Blair, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are his brother, Daniel H. Dennis and sister, Margerie Beal.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd., with Bishop Gary Hoop officiating.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
