Wallace Hague Ellis

Hague Ellis flew off into the sunset on June 16, 2013. He was born on June 24, 1930 in Ogden, Utah; the youngest child of Wallace H. and Gene B. Ellis. He attended schools in Ogden and was a graduate of the University of Utah.

He enlisted in the Army during the Korean police action and served in Fort Smith, Arkansas. During this time he met his wife Sue and they were married for 58 years. He began his career in banking, moved on to aviation and finally the construction business.

Hague''s favorite place was the great outdoors and he thought that the best time of year was autumn in Idaho, Redlands and Utah. Nothing exceeded his love of adventure, nature and his family. His standard advice was to "Keep Smiling" and we will.

Leading the path were his parents, brother, Matthew B. Ellis; sisters, Ginger E. Wallace and Elizabeth E. Schmidt and son, John J. Ellis.

Still hanging in there are his wife, Sue; son, Daniel; daughters, Elaine (Henry Wurts) and Mary Ann (Brad Cassell) and granddaughters, Emma & Madeline Cassell.

Private graveside services will be held. (SUN change a€" were held.)

In lieu of flowers, you can donate to a charity of your choice or to the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital: P.O. Box 364, Montpelier, ID 83254
