LAYTON a€" Wally Edward Ramsey, 78, died Thursday, March 20, 2008, from Alzheimers.

He was born June 23, 1929 in Layton the son of Wallace Edward and Eolean Simmons Ramsey.

He married Betty Elvina Allen on February 11, 1974 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Wally lived his entire life in Layton, Utah. He retired from HAFB and Bountiful Motors. He was a lifetime member of ATA, the Elks and Eagles Lodge. Wally enjoyed trap shooting, hunting, fishing, bowling, golfing and dancing. He loved everything life had to offer.

He is survived by his wife Betty; children Cindy (Ron) Smith, Christine Nay, Caren Thomas, Annett Sartor, a niece Gloria Eason, 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
