Wanda Adams

June 16, 1952 — January 8, 2025

In Loving Memory of Wanda Jean Adams.

Wanda Adams, 72, passed away from complications with COPD on January 8, 2025, at Apple Village Assisted Living in Layton, Utah.

Born on June 16, 1952, to William Jess Robbins and Eunice Elaine Haywood, Wanda was the third of four daughters. After graduating from Layton High School in 1971, Wanda entered the workforce, skillfully balancing family and career. She married Val Adams in 2002 while working at L3 Communications as a Production Planner. She worked there for 22 years before retiring in 2017.

She loved her work and the people she worked with, but her greatest joy came from time spent with family during their get-togethers, countless trips with her husband, Val, visiting her sister in Montana and spending time with Cosmo, her dog.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Val Adams; siblings Carol (Allen) Fraughten, Cathy (Steve) Turner, and Wilma Stewart; her children Jesse (Lori) Cole, Shanna (Brandt) Justensen, Tyson Cole; Kristy (Corby) Hatch, Andrea Adams, Ryan (Ashley) Adams, along with countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Eunice, her brother-in-law, Fred Stewart, and her grandson, Caleb Cole.

A memorial celebration will be held in June 2025, with details to come. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
