Warren Jason Ferree
July 16, 1954 ~ February 28, 2015
Warren Jason Ferree, of Roy, Utah passed away at his home after a long valiant fight with brain cancer on Saturday, February 28, 2015. He was 60 years old.
Warren was born in Torrance, California and has lived in many places. He was a traveler at heart. Warren had a passion for RV’ing, cooking, golf, art, photography, and his dear pugs. Warren’s inner spirit is one that is strong and true; he touched all who have known him.
Warren was a program manager at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. He leaves behind many good friends there. Warren also worked as massage therapist, a contractor for EG&G, and for Utah Stamping, Warren served in the United States Air Force and was veteran.
Warren is survived by his wife, Maureen Ferree of Roy, Utah, as well as his sons Kenny Ferree and his family, Jason Ferree and his family, his daughter Shannon Ferree and her family; and his step-sons, Brad Thorsted, Mike Thorsted, and their families. He is also survived by his brother Ken Ferree, his sister Lola Ferree and their families of Pocatello, Idaho.
A gathering to celebrate Warren’s life will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
