Wayne J. Beus

October 14, 1927 ~ October 9, 2014

Wayne J. Beus was born in Clinton, Utah on October 14, 1927.  He was a lifelong and well known horseman.  He and his wife, Helen bred, trained, and showed fine Quarter Horses in the States of Montana, Arizona, Texas, and Utah where they lived.  The horses they raised competed and won in every one of the western states.

Wayne was an NCHA and AQHA judge for many years.

Wayne was a disabled WWII veteran. He accomplished a great deal in the horse world in spite of his disabilities.

At Wayne’s request there will be no services. Cremation entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.

Thanks to A Step Forward Hospice and George E. Wahlens Veterans Home staff and caregivers for your love, support, and understanding.

In lieu of flowers to quote Uncle Doyle Jones, “Take your loved ones to dinner and leave a big tip.”
