He and Rose moved back to Ogden, Utah and shared many happy years with his parents. They decided to move to Dallas, Georgia to be close to Rose's daughter Michelle. This is where Wayne spent his final years. He enjoyed taking Rose out to the movies, going out to eat, walking the dogs and hitting the gym, bicycling and traveling.
