Wayne Bishop Gren

Wayne Bishop Gren 1931 -2012

Wayne Bishop Gren began his next big road trip and returned home to his Heavenly Father on November 3, 2012 from causes incident to age.

He was born March 5, 1931 to Vern Victor and Beada Caroline Bishop Gren in Salt Lake City, Utah. His mother passed away when he was three years old and he and his brother and sister were cared for by family members until his father remarried and they were then raised by their father and stepmother Martha. They moved to Bountiful and his childhood was filled with many adventures and the addition of two little brothers.

Wayne worked for Eimco and retired from there. Wayne''s favorite thing was to take road trips and was always ready to find out where the next road went. He was a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by his brothers, Jack Gren, Oakland, CA; Vern Gren (Gay), Bountiful, UT and Gary Gren (Bea), Pasco, WA and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank his wonderful neighbors and ward members in West Valley, especially Glena and Todd for their kindness and love for Wayne.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Salt Lake City Cemetery,400 North N St. Friends may visit family Wed. from 6-8 pm at Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E.
