We spent many days together fishing in Florida. Although he often caught nothing more than seaweed or twigs and would curse about it repeatedly, he was happy that we spent the time together as was I. Although I was often a luckier fisherman, I could only ever hope to be as loving and compassionate of a man as he was. I love you dad. Your grateful son, Jonathan
Why do ducks not fly upside down? Because they would quack up! That was one of my dad''s favorite jokes. He had a quirky sense of humor and I definitely picked up his caliber of jokes. Aside from his sense of humor my dad also gave me great advice during some of my toughest times. The last piece of advice he gave me was, "things never last". He was right but wrong. Many things don''t last, but how much I love and will miss him will always last. - Stephanie Lyon
Some of my greatest memories of me and my dad together include the late nights of watching our favorite shows together and our secret trips for Chinese food. He could always cheer me up by reminding me of some of these good times we had together. During his last days I tried to give the same comfort by letting him know how much those special times had meant to me. I will miss you Dad but I''ll never forget you. Love-Sabrina
