Dearest Wayne,

We wanted to make sure we got this in the paper so you knew not to go to work today.

You really outdid it by growing the "Little Wayne" tumor in your neck. You sure made a name for yourself at the Huntsman Cancer Institute.

Wayne, a loving dad, papa, son, brother, friend, neighbor, co-worker, golf instructor, fishing guide, cheerleader and life coach passed peacefully at home with his three children, Ashlie Lawton (Shelby, son Braxton Elliott), Amy Miller (daughter Aubrey), Ethan Nuttall and sister, Jan Mortensen.

Wayne started working for his father's Heating and Air Conditioning Company at a young age.

He joined the Air Force Reserve and sampled all the great beers of the world before moving into a sales career, which sometimes interrupted a tee time or fishing trip. He landed at Hill Air Force Base as a sheet metal mechanic working on the C-130s and A-10s before retiring to fight the good fight.

Wayne loved his children, grandchildren, siblings and all of his friends. He made the rounds and you knew on Sunday you best answer that phone.

We'd be remiss to not mention the most important title he carried being the baby of the Nuttall family. In April 1962 he was born to Donald and Cathryn Nuttall who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his favorite brother, Donald Nuttall and best friend, Scott Fish Larsen. Wayne is survived by his favorite sister, Pat Decius, favorite brother, Dr. William DeVries (Linda), favorite sister, Ann Burton (Dave), favorite brother, Doug Nuttall (Beatrice), favorite sisters, Jan Mortensen and Chris Wempe (Jim) and favorite brother, John Nuttall (Tammy).

We're honoring your wishes with a party on Saturday, March 12th at 3pm until close (at your house...BYOB).
