KAYSVILLE a€" Wayne Allen Taylor, 82, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010.

He was born January 6, 1928 in Sacramento, California the son of Merle M. and Sarah J. Hall Taylor.

He served in the Merchant Marines in the Korean War.

Wayne married Iris S. Stewart. They were later divorced. He married Ruby Hope Young in November 1972. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Bountiful LDS Temple.

He was a member of the LDS Church and currently serving as High Priest.

Wayne loved ranching and was a loving devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved life.

Surviving are his wife Ruby, sons, Justin Tisdale (Deb), Jason Tisdale, Merle Taylor (Chantel), daughters, Starla (Lowder), Colette Stratton (Alan), Pam Mecham (Don), Pat Young (Dee), Pam Tisdale, sisters, Joyce Bradley and Margarie Nimmo.

Preceded in death by his parents and brother Harold Taylor.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville 6th Ward Chapel, 615 Flint Street. Friends may visit family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Wallsburg City Cemetery at 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers family suggest donations be made to Ruby Taylor at Goldenwest Credit Union to offset funeral expenses.
