Wendy Ann Bodily

December 16, 1959 ~ April 12, 2016

Wendy Ann Bodily, 56, of Roy, returned with infinite accolades to her Father in Heaven.  Wendy’s legacy is that of love, service and succoring those in need.  Wendy was born in Santa Monica, California to Kelvin and Patricia Bennett.

Wendy’s encompassing bond with her two children will eternally continue to bless, serve and protect them from the other side of the veil.  Later in life Wendy was sealed in the Ogden Temple to her true hero Wayne Bodily, where they sampled six glorious years of what their eternity would be.  Wendy was the eldest of ten siblings. She was admired and sought to be emulated.   Many soul-filled smiles were etched in Wendy’s heart by her seven rambunctious grandchildren.  Although Wendy always knew the right things to say, she will be remembered most by how she made people feel, precious and loved.

Wendy is survived by her husband, Wayne Bodily; her two children, Joshua Reeves and Clarissa Lindeman; daughter -in-law, Holly Reeves; her mother, Pat Bennett; and eight of her siblings, Dan Bennett, Kellie Cook, Tracy Crimin, Valerie Yates,  Ammon Bennett, Melissa Welch, Joel Bennett, and Summer Bennett.  Wendy is preceded in death by her father, Kelvin Bennett and her sister, Sarah Bennett.

“For my own suffering and weakness had been taken in hand by the wonderful counselor, and where once there was darkness, light by light, strand by strand, he re-wove the fabric of my heart with threads of purest gold, so that my affections and sympathies have been, in a marvelous manner, enlarged and re-trained to make me more like him.”

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.  The family will meet with friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Clearfield Cemetery
