Wendy Susan Kerbs, 54, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009.
She was born February 27, 1955 in Ogden, Utah to Irvin Owen and Elaine Whitworth Stanger.
On November 21, 1973, Wendy married Marlin Steven Kerbs in Ogden, Utah.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Wendy was employed at Hill Air Force Base as an Electrical Repair Specialist.
She was talented and spent countless hours cross-stitching, sewing and gardening. She enjoyed reading, camping, her dogs and traveling, especially vacationing in Alaska, with Marlin. She loved her family very much and was proud of her three little grandkids. Wendy was unselfish and always supportive and uplifting. She had an amazing and wonderful sense of humor. She was the rock and foundation of our family.
Wendy is survived by her husband, Marlin; a son, Brad (Ashley) Kerbs, West Jordan; a daughter, Stephanie (Travis) Minnig, Hooper; three grandchildren, Trevan, Kyrsten, Kaitlyn; three brothers, Scott (Margene) Stanger, Mark Stanger, Randy (LeAnn) Stanger; and two sisters, Pat (Bill) Sevy, and Teresa Edwards.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 19th at 11:00 a.m. at the Roy 10th Ward Chapel, 5900 South 3100 West.
Family and friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Tuesday at the church, from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
