Wesley L. Bennett
LAYTON – Wesley L. Bennett, 74, passed away Friday, June 23, 2017.
He was born December 7, 1942 in Ogden, Utah to Wesley L. Bennett Sr. and Ann Potts Bennett.
Graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1960 and served in the U.S. Army in the 1960’s, stationed in Thule, Greenland.
Wes married Nellie J. Taylor April 5, 1973.
Survived by his wife, four children, Wendy Ryan (Tom), Bret (Mary Beth), William (the late Susan) and Russell, 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, brothers, Rex (Carma), Paul (Chris), and sister JoAnn (Loy) Satterthwaite.
Wes loved his family, fishing, hunting, riding his horses, riding his ATV and puttering in his shop and barn. He was very talented with wood working, welding and drawing. He could do anything in the construction business. He was a carpenter.
Please join the family in a celebration of his life at the Bennett residence, 969 East Antelope Drive, Layton, Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 11:00 to 2:00 p.m. Lunch will be served.
