Wilda K. Williams

Wilda K. Williams, 82, died Saturday, May 3, 2008 at her home from complications of cancer.

She was born August 30, 1925 in Cache Valley, a daughter of Orson G. and Amy R. Kidman. She was raised and educated in Cache Valley.

Wilda married William Dale Williams on November 14, 1942 in Louisville, KY. He preceded her in death on May 8, 1974. She later married Elden Williams on October 29, 1996 in Elko, NV. He preceded her in death on September 2, 2006.

She loved to spend time with her family and Christmas was the holiday she enjoyed the most.

She worked as an Assistant Manager/Manager for K-Mart and she was also employed at Hill Air Force Base for eleven years, where she received the "Most Pleasant Person Award". She retired in 1989.

Wilda is survived by four sons and two daughters, Blaine (Marie), Roy; Wayne (Cindy), Cottontown, TN; Brent, Roy; Scott (Mari), Roy; Tanna Hansen, Kansas; Judy (Karl) Palmer, South Ogden; 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; three sisters and five step-children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, one sister, both husbands, one son and two grandchildren.

The family expresses appreciation to Vista Care Hospice Team, especially Tami, for the loving care given to Wilda.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Chapel, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., at the mortuary.
