Willard Benjamin Lowe, 80, passed away Friday, July 15, 2011 at his home. He was born June 20, 1931 in Bowman, ND, the son of Warren Bush and Frances Mary Smith Lowe. He married Lucille Alice Edgel on June 22, 1956 and she passed away on March 4, 2002. He married Rene''e Spangler Hancock on October 16, 2007.

Raised in Nyssa Oregon, he graduated from Nyssa High School. He served in the Air Force and was stationed at Lackland AFB in Texas. Willard was employed as an electrician for many years at Hill Air Force Base. He enjoyed golf, stained glass and walking. He was a member of the LDS Church.

He is survived by his wife Rene''e, sons Rick Hancock, Ely, NV; Martin (Helenea) Hancock, Middletown, RI; daughters Teresa (Charles) Reveal, Layton, UT; Vickie (Robert) Simpson, Ogden, UT; Vanessa Hancock, Riverdale, UT; 14 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two sisters, Florence Annette Mecham, Salt Lake City, UT and Ione Mae Messick, Garden Valley, ID.

Preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lucille and his sister Marjorie Anne.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 N. Fairfield Road. Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
