Willard “Bud” Wilmot
1915 - 2010
Beloved husband, father, grandfather and one of the last of the greatest generation started his new journey at the age of 94, on March 23, 2010 after complications from pneumonia.
Born Willard Houghton Wilmot to Noyes J. and Cora Virginia Wilmot on November 23, 1915 in Fort Totten, NY. Bud enlisted in the Army Air Corps during WWII and served his country courageously. After the war Bud married his sweetheart, Verna Long; they had 64 happy years together. He continued to work for the USAF for 32 years as an ammunition specialist, traveling extensively through the United States, Asia, and Europe until his retirement.
Bud was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as counselor in the Preston England branch presidency, a ward clerk, and the Young Mens President. Bud loved sports and tending to his yard. His family was the love of his life.
His wife Verna; daughter Sherry (Wayne); sons Noyes (Linda) and Mark (CleAnn); grandchildren Ted, Teresa (Glenn), Lisa (Nick), Natalie, Lindsey, Eric (Karlee), Angela, Sarina, Brittany, and Anna; great-grandsons Anthony, Cody, Kobie and Taylor are honored and blessed to have been touched by his kind heart, wise teachings, and warm personality.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Lakeview hospital for all the loving care given to Bud and his family.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Bountiful 24th Ward Chapel, 720 E. 550 N. Friends may call Friday Mar. 26th from 6-8 pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. and 9:45 – 10:45 am at the church prior to services. Interment Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, Bountiful.
