He was born January 23, 1938 in Moline, Illinois to Charles Henry Borchers and Florence Augusta Duenow.

Bill served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, three sons and one daughter.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
