Dan Hill

It is with great sadness that we tell our beloved brother Dan goodbye. Dan passed suddenly in July at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born to William J. and Elsie C. Hill, both deceased. He was raised with his siblings, Michael Hill – deceased, Rita Hill and Karen Montagna.  

Dan received a Purple Heart from the US Marine Corp in 1967 after receiving injuries in Vietnam. He retired from the State of Utah where he worked for most of his career constructing and maintaining state communication sites. Dan was a lifelong resident of Utah. He loved exploring southern Utah in his jeep, playing golf and browsing the Utah bookstores. He was a kind and peaceful soul, and he will be missed by friends and family.

A military committal ceremony will be held on October 6, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Utah Veterans Cemetery and Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, Utah 84065.
