William Marshall Kelley
LAYTON a" William Marshall Kelley, 86, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2007 at his home surrounded by his family. William was born September 28, 1921 in Turner Township, Oklahoma to John William and Irene Owens Kelley. He was raised there and as a young man he moved to San Bernadino, CA where he resided for about fifteen years. He then moved to the Ogden area where he resided until now.
William worked as a Missile Mechanic and retired from Civil Service. He was proud of his military service with the Army Air Corps and the Air Force. He was also a member of the VFW. He loved the outdoors and always enjoyed camping and fishing.
William is survived by his friend and companion Francis Martinez, sons Marvis D. Kelley, Riverside, CA; William M. Kelley Jr., Layton, UT; daughters Saundra P. Kelley, Clearfield, UT and Elizabeth A. Kreiman, Trinidad, CO, thirteen grandchildren, 6 great-grand-children, brother Ernist Kelley and sisters, LaVonn Kohl, and Nadine Wagner.
Preceded in death by daughter, Carol Ann and son John William. Parents and brothers, Cliff, Ted and Marvin.
Graveside services will be held Monday, October 29, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 North Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Monday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
