William Read Kunzler

OGDEN a€" William Read Kunzler, 60, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011 of causes related to cancer. He was born November 4, 1951 in Ogden to Floyd and Erva Kunzler.

Read grew up in Ogden and attended Ogden High School, Weber State College and Brigham Young University. He was a business owner in Florida, and investment advisor and a heavy equipment operator in Alaska. He was a faithful member of the LDS Church and served in many callings during his lifetime. He was an Eagle Scout, received his Duty to God award and served an LDS Mission to Argentina.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Wakefield Kunzler; his children from a previous marriage to Lona Hymas, Jacqui Verbica (Mike), William (Jessica), Daniel (Raquel) and Katherine; his mother Erva Kunzler; and his brothers and sisters, Gloria Olson (Craig, deceased), Ron (Debra), Arlo (Jill), Sean (Shannon), Michael (Christie), Sue Ann Burton (Kenneth), and Jed (Jennifer).

Read was preceded in death by his father Floyd Kunzler.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Canyon Hollows LDS Ward, 1550 Rushton St., Ogden. Friends may visit family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Willard City Cemetery.
