William Lewis Leach

October 2, 1932 ~ February 26, 2015

William Lewis Leach, 82, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015.  He was born on October 2, 1932 in Rushville, New York, the son of Samuel and Harriett Mertz Leach.

He loved bowling and participated in the Special Olympics for many years.  He loved his coffee and Coke  - “you got that right”.

William lived at Turn Community Services, and had many friends and staff that supported him.

He loved to take care of everybody, but especially his brother, Benny.

William is survived by his brother, Benjamin Leach; sisters, Carol Davis and Sandy (Byron) Madsen; and many nieces and nephews that absolutely loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother and stepfather, Ray Varney; and sisters, Arvella Leach, Margaret Truman, and LaVone Gonser.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.  A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 4:30 p.m. at Turn Daycenter, 393 State St., Clearfield.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
