FRUIT HEIGHTS a€" Beloved father, grandfather, and devoted husband, William McGreal, 73, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2009. He was born October 7, 1935, in Potlatch, Idaho, the eldest son of Philip and Beulah McGreal.

Bill was a decorated veteran of the United States Air Force. He served for 30 years at 14 bases around the world, including 12 years in Southeast Asia.

Bill was an avid outdoorsman who loved hiking and hunting. He was always willing to listen and ready to lend a helping hand whenever needed. His great sense of humor and generosity endeared all who met him. Bill will be forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy; children Timothy McGreal, Cameron, NC; Mary McGreal (Vern Waters), Layton, UT; and Heidi McGreal, Portland, OR. Also surviving are his loving grandchildren Lauren Waters, Dylan Waters, Stacy McGreal and brother Jackson McGreal, Eureka, MT. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother James of Potlatch, ID.

Friends and family may call Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road Layton, Utah.
