William (Bill) R. Montgomery Jr.

Bill Montgomery Jr., loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, 47, passed away Friday, November 19, 2010 peacefully at home.

He was born September 26, 1963 the son of William R. and Sharon F. Happli Montgomery.

He married Cheryl McLennan. They had three children and were later divorced. He married Cristine Murphy in 1994 in Farr West, Utah. She preceded him in death.

Bill was a member of the Alpine Church. He accepted Christ as his Savior and found peace praying with Pastor Bill.

He was an avid Raider football fan and he enjoyed golf and NASCAR.

Bill was known for his sense of humor, loved road trips to Las Vegas, concerts (kicking it old school), and spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed sorely.

He is survived by his daughter Cassie (Brad), sons Brandon (Sasha), John (Nicole), two grandchildren, Abby and Gavin, sister Kim and nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his mother Sharon and wife Cristine.

A celebration of life party will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2010 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Riverdale Community Center, 4360 S. Parker Dr, Riverdale, UT 84405. (Please dress casual)

Interment, Monday, November 29, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.

Funeral directors, Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
