ROY – William Dana Morton, 47, passed away October 28, 2013 at the McKay Dee Hospital after a valiant seven week battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born March 7, 1966 to Dale and Loree Morton of Lindon, Utah.
He served a L.D.S. mission in Hartford, Connecticut from 1985 to 1987.
He graduated from Utah State University in June of 1993 with a degree as an Electrical Engineer.
He worked for 3.com for nine years and at the time of death he was working for Hill Air Force Base.
Dana met his sweetheart Teresa Ann Frederick in 1990 as her home teacher at a singles ward. They were married August 16, 1991 in the Logan L.D.S. Temple for time and all eternity.
They were blessed with three very special children; Anthony, Alex and their precious little china doll, Tianna Mei.
Dana is survived by his dear wife and three children of Roy, Utah, his mother of Pleasant Grove, Utah, brothers; Loren (Rachael), Allen (JoLynn) and Jonathan, sisters; Malinda (Dennis) McCue, Daneen (Mark) Coulson. Also surviving are his inlaws; Erwin and Karen Frederick of Providence, Utah, brother-in-law, Kent (Jeana) Frederick, sister-in-law, Leslie (Lance) Roylance, nieces; Erin, Adreana, Bryn, Calee, Melissa (Stephen), Tiara (Steven), nephews; Coen, Davin, Payton, Davin R., Luke (Yulee) and grand-nephew and niece, Ryan Amir and Anastaysia.
Dana was preceded in death by his father and nephews; Ryan, Jeromy and Paul.
Funeral services will be held Saturday November 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Roy 18th Ward Chapel, 5725 S. 3750 W., Roy. Friends may visit with family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
