William Kirby Mosser, 56, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at his home.
He was born February 18, 1955 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to William Adam and Beatrice Anderson Mosser. His father was in the military and the family moved several times. He moved to Utah in 1962.
Kirby served his country as a Seabee in the US Navy from 1972 to 1976 during the Vietnam War.
He married Vicki Boman and they had two wonderful children, Amber and Adam. They were later divorced. On July 27, 1983, Kirby married Sherry Hayes in Clearfield, Utah.
He was employed at Hill AFB for 30 years as an electronic technician. Kirby found the Lord on June 20, 1999 and was a member of the Mountain View Baptist Church.
A kid at heart, he always wanted to get the last laugh. He loved his cats. A genuine person full of love for Sherry, his best friend.
He lived for his grandchildren and loved spending time with them. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
Kirby is survived by his wife, Sherry; a son, Adam (Nellie) Mosser, Perry; a daughter, Amber (Bruce) Campbell, Kaysville; nine grandchildren; his mother, Beatrice, Layton; and a sister, Tandra (Jim) McLeroy, Houston, TX.
He was preceded in death by his father, and a daughter-in-law, Candace Mosser.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 21st at 11 a.m. at the Mountain View Baptist Church, 2585 East 3000 North, Layton.
The family will meet with friends on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
