William Marshall Newton

1952 ~ 2016

William Marshall Newton, 63, of Kaysville, Utah, passed away April 16, 2016 in his Kaysville home.

He was born on June 29, 1952, in Jackson, Michigan, to Irving and Donna Newton.  Bill was raised in Kaysville and attended Davis High School and Weber State College.

On March 5, 1970, Bill married Jill Fleishman in Bountiful, Utah.  They were married for 46 years and together had three children.

Bill was a bookworm who loved to hunt and fish any chance he got, but most prominently he was a rock 'n' roller.  His passion for music will live on through his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Jill Newton, and their three children: Heather (Robert Waring) of Colorado, Heidie (Mike Padilla) of Utah, and Harley (Amy Newton-Dagner) of Utah.  He also leaves behind his mother, Donna Newton, and his two siblings, Marty (Denise Newton) and Roxane (Curtis Seward), as well as seven grandchildren: Brodie Waring, Broc Waring, Rylee Padilla, Caden Padilla, Ethan Dagner-Newton, Zane Dagner-Newton and Ulrich Dagner-Newton.

Rest easy, Bill. You will be deeply missed by us all.
