WILLIAM PERKINS “Billy”

1987-2014

William “Billy” Joseph Perkins passed from this earth Thursday May 15, 2014 with his mother and sister by his side.  Billy was born June 12, 1987, son of Kelly Howard and Joseph Perkins.    He graduated from Bountiful High and attended the University of Utah.  Billy was so loving and caring and had an amazing smile.

He was a huge U of U fan!  Billy had the love of music and was taught to play guitar by his Dad, Joe.  He loved to join in on “jam sessions” with his Dad and Uncle Rich.  Billy was an avid reader and movie lover.  You would rarely see him without a book in hand.  He loved the original Star Wars and never missed a midnight showing of Harry Potter.  We always told Billy we were his biggest fans and loved him so much as it was always the three of us; Billy, Meggie and Mom.  His friends were so important, especially his friend Kennedy who was his guardian angel for many years.

Thank you for the unconditional love he received from his extended family, those who were friends of Bill W.  Thank you for the kind and loving care Billy received in his final hours at St. Mark’s Hospital ER and ICU.

Billy leaves behind his mother, Kelly Howard, sister, Meggie Troili, Grandma Jane, his cat, Kitten, 4 aunts, 4 uncles and 8 cousins.  Preceded in death by his father Joseph Perkins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. Bountiful, where friends may visit from 9:30-10:30 am prior to the service.  Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to a local recovery center or group.  Condolences may be shared at www.lindquistmortuary.com
