Our beloved Husband, Son and Grandson, Chad Rhead, 37, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010 at his home surrounded by his loving family, following a long and courageous battle with brain cancer.

He was born January 20, 1973 in Ogden, Utah to Steve and Bonnie Eddy Rhead.

On July 29, 1995, Chad married the love of his life, soul mate, and best friend, Shawna Marie Johnson at Washington Heights Baptist Church.

He worked at Fresenius Medical Care for 18 years and loved his job and all the people he worked with.

Chad enjoyed mountain biking, hunting, fishing, and most of all spending time with his wonderful wife Shawna, and family.

He was loved by everyone and would lend a helping hand to anyone.

Surviving is his loving wife of 15 years, Shawna; his parents Steve and Bonnie Rhead, Plain City; his brother, Jed (Erin) Rhead, Farr West; his grandparents, Max and Beverly Eddy, Plain City; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vivian and W. Theron Rhead.

We love you Chad, and will greatly miss you!

The family wishes to express thanks to the wonderful staff of Hospice for Utah, the Huntsman Cancer Institute, the University of Utah Medical Center, family and friends.

Memorial services will be held Friday, June 4th at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South, with Pastor Leon Shelton, officiating.
