William S. Rinehart, Jr

SMSgt (retired AF) William S. Rinehart, Jr., formerly of Moreno Valley, CA, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Heritage Park Care Center.

He was born December 22, 1921 in Lancaster, PA to William S. Rinehart, Sr. and Edith Donley Rinehart.

On May 21, 1964, William married Alice Brown Cox in Coeur d''Alene, Idaho.

He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and Marine Corp during World War II, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He enjoyed serving 31+ years of military service, retiring August 1974. He was a member of the Retired Air Force Association and Disabled Veterans Association. William maintained 50 and 60 year friendships with his military buddies.

He loved and owned several antique cars that had been in television shows and movies.

William is survived by his wife, Alice; three daughters, Darelle Herr, Manheim, PA; Virginia Boyer, Fort Worth, TX; Julia (Brad) Cornwell, Mansfield, TX; a step-son, Michael Cox; two step-daughters, Pamela (Ray) Bisoni, West Haven; Martha Gonzales-Florez, England; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 5th at 10:00 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Friends and family may call Wednesday from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m., at the mortuary.

Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park, Camp Williams.
