William E. Sandoz

William E. “Bill” Sandoz, 80, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2008 at his home. He was born January 30, 1928 in Ogden, Utah to George and Georgina Sandoz. Bill served in the United States Army. On June 27, 1952, Bill married Marjorie Major in Kaysville, Utah. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bill considered his family to be his most precious possession. His greatest passion in life was playing golf with his foursome. Bill is survived by his wife, Marjorie, Roy; a son, Douglas (Leisa) Sandoz, St. Louis, MO; a daughter, Deborah S. (Rob) Hardison, Layton; grandchildren, Kresta Hardison- Stavre (Victor), Shara Dawn Hardison, step-grandchildren, Tiffani Briggs and Brandon Briggs; and a sister, Violet Sant, Billings, MT. He was preceded in death by his beloved granddaughter, Shara Dawn Hardison, his parents, and two sisters, Rhoda Wiggill and Elaine Davidson. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 31st at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. Friends and family may call Thursday from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
